Roscoe Village Animal Hospital is seeking PT/FT Certified Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Client Care Coordinators to join our team. RVAH is a four-doctor AAHA accredited, Feline Friendly practice located on the north side of Chicago.

Certified Veterinary Technician 

Do you want to work in an environment where you can use your technical skills and get trained in regenerative medicine/ alternative therapies such as Class IV Laser, Platelet Rich Plasma, and Stem Cell therapy? If you’ve answered yes, then read on!

Our technicians practice such skills as administering anesthesia, surgical assistance, and anesthetic monitoring, dental prophylaxis, dental radiography, digital radiology, laboratory skills (urine, fecal analysis,  cytology, differentials, chemistry tests), venipuncture, iv catheter placement, administering medications (oral and injectable), bandage changes, client communication/  client education, fear-free based animal handling (cats/dogs) and so much more. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50#.

Veterinary Assistant    Have you always dreamed of working with animals? Here’s your chance! Some of our Veterinary Assistant duties include fear-free based animal handling (cats/dogs), assisting our veterinarians in the exam room, obtaining and preparing laboratory samples (fecals, ear cytology, urinalysis), assisting with radiographs, preparing medications, hospitalized patient care,  nail trims, blood pressure, client communication (marketing and client education), general hospital maintenance and more. Previous veterinary experience is a plus. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50#.

Client Care Coordinator   Are you a people person? Are you compassionate, outgoing, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)? Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced environment independently or with a team? If you answered yes, we’d love to talk with you! Some of the Client Care Coordinator’s duties include: checking in/out clients, answering five phone lines, scheduling appointments, sending out reminders,  financial transactions, client education, operating a Windows-based computer program, and navigate veterinary software, and more. Previous veterinary experience is a plus. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40#.
